In the published case In re the Conservatorship of Kayle (2005) 134 Cal.App.4th 1, the California Second District Court of Appeal fully reversed and remanded Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Richard A. Adler‘s “abuse of discretion” and “improper” and “erroneous” order of dismissal of an elder abuse complaint brought under the Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act, also known as the Elder Abuse Act (Welfare & Institutions Code § 15600 et seq.).
